Plant Description
Flower spikes up to a foot long covered with pea-like, cream-colored flowers cause the branches of the Cream False Indigo to cascade under their weight. The flowers turn into green seed pods which will turn black after the first frost. The leaves change from green in the late summer to a dark gray or black. These bushy plants bloom from March to June depending on the climate. As seedlings, these plants are slow to mature and take several years to bloom.
