Instructions:
Lance-leaf tickseed grows easily in dry to medium moisture soil that is well-drained. Remarkably, the plant also thrives in poor, sandy or rocky soils as long as it has adequate drainage. Lance-leaf tickseed tolerates heat, humidity and drought quite well. Deadheading spent flower stalks promptly will encourage additional bloom and prevent unwanted self-seeding. Plants may also be cut back aggressively during the summer in order to control foliage.
